No you don't.
As part of our chroming, re-chroming and chrome restoration service we remove the existing finish on your arts. Usually this evolves de-chroming the existing plate using a number of reverse electro-chemical processes to remove the chrome, the nickel below the chrome and possibly the copper base coat.
Once this is done we use a number of linishing and polishing processes to return the metal back to a perfect near mirror finish, before it is chromed.
