We have updated our privacy policy and our site, applications for compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for and "site" where our clients and users can access documents and interact with us online (client portal)

This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by our services and web-site. It will notify you of the following:

  • What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

  • The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.

We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, forms, widgets on our site or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your private information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your private information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order or fulfill a service or collect payment.

We collect and store this data so that we can give a better faster more informative service to our customers.

Under the fair use of 'legitimate interest' we may from time to time send you emails shortly after you contact us to follow-up on your request, give changes to that request or notify you of any promotion we have related to that request

We may also email you should you should you order from us so that we can notify you:

  • An order
  • Updates an order
  • An invoice
  • Requests for payment
  • Confirmation of payment
  • Shipping notification
  • A cancellation.
  • Messages in relation to any of the above from our agents/team.
  • A survey to help us improve our service

We will not contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services unless you have otherwise 'opted in' to receive marketing information from us.


You can opt out of receiving emails from us by using the unsubscribe, manage preferences links on the bottom of all emails sent from us. If you unsubscribe from our services we can not be held responsible for any loss, or disruption to our ability to deliver our service. For example if you unsubscribe from our emails and have placed an order, or sent us items we will not be able to get in contact with you for example to obtain payment or return your goods.

Under the GDPR you have rights to access, rectify and delete your data. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

   • Change/correct any data we have about you.

   • Have us delete any data we have about you if that data is not required by us by law.

We may need to retain such data in order for our company to be lawfully correct and have the legal records our company is required to keep in order for us to protect you, our agents and employees and our company. 

Your content

Ashford Chroming allows you to post on our site and send via email images and content related to your restoration project; including photos, comments, links, and other materials. Anything that you post or otherwise make available to us is referred to as "User Content." You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the User Content you provide to Ashford Chroming.

How Ashford Chroming can use your content

You grant Ashford Chroming a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, perform, and distribute your User Content on Ashford Chroming solely for the purposes of operating, developing, providing, and using the Ashford Chroming Products. Nothing in these Terms shall restrict other legal rights Ashford Chroming may have to User Content, for example under other licenses. We reserve the right to remove or modify User Content for any reason, including User Content that we believe violates these Terms or our policies.

Surveys and reviews

Our client portal is also served in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site.
